Rocco watched the plume of artificial smoke rise above them. ‘Well, my dad and nonno are both dead. But nonno was one of the hairiest men I ever saw.’ She nodded, feeling lazy until she started to fret about the time moving faster than they thought it was. ‘I should go back to my room,’ Beth said, getting up quickly. ‘Okay,’ Rocco nodded calmly, pulling his blanket back over him. ‘You know where to find me.’
